Coaches & Managers

Are you interested in being a Volunteer Coach?

All coaches, assistant coaches and team managers must register online. A valid e-mail address is required. If you already have a player in the club, you should use the same account (same user name and password) to register as a coach.

To become a CFSC Coach you are required pass a background check and complete 3 online safety courses with Washington Youth Soccer.

  • RMA Background Check
  • Safesport Training Course
  • Concussion Safety Course
  • Sudden Cardiac Arrest Course

A Risk Management Application (RMA) must be completed for anyone working with our youth as a representative of CFSC.  This background check is required by the Washington State Youth Soccer Association (WYS) and is necessary to ensure the safety of our players.  You will not be assigned a team until the RMA application is completed.

In 2021, CFSC will offer a 100% discount for one child to anyone who volunteers to head coach a team. This refund will be issued in the month of June (Spring) / November (Fall), after verification of the head coach position.

We will also be providing each Head Coach with a choice for (1) of the following items.

  • CFSC Coach Hoody
  • Adidas Ball Bag
  • 6 Person Sideline Bench

One of the essential functions of coaches and team managers is to manage team communications with players and their families.  If you are a coach or team manager, SportsEngine has created a Team Management Guide for Coaches and Team Managers to help you use our website and mobile app to efficiently and effectively communicate and manage your teams.
